Title I Information
As a Title I School, White Oak Elementary receives federal funding
that allows our school to purchase materials, technology, and staffing
in order to provide students with fair and equal access to a high-quality
White Oak Elementary School is a Title I school, and as the parent/guardian of a child attending a Title I school you are an important part of the Title I team. Your input is vital in the planning and implementation of the parent involvement program and activities in our school. The focus of all Title I programs is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children, regardless of their socioeconomic status and background. Please feel free to offer your input anytime throughout the year.
Parent Resource Library - Click this link to access the system's resources on how to help your child at home. Topics include how to help your child get organized, helping out with homework, and how to recognize your child's strengths and offer encouragement.
Additionally, we have a Title I Parent Resource Center located in the front office area. Here you can access brochures in English and Spanish that offer suggestions on helping your child with school and test-taking strategies, as well as, view our Title I documents. There is a computer available that will give you the opportunity to access the Coweta County School System website, Parent Portal, and other educational resources. There are also some children's books housed here as well. Please stop by to check out our resource center!
